Vipps Express Checkout
Vipps Express Checkout solves one of the biggest problems in Norwegian e-commerce: complicated and time-consuming payment processes that lead to customers abandoning their shopping carts. With Vipps Express Checkout, customers can pay in one click without filling out long forms, creating accounts, or entering card information. The app is based on the Vipps Login module and works directly on both product pages and shopping cart pages, allowing customers to start checkout the moment they are ready to buy.

When the customer clicks the Express Checkout button in the store, they are redirected to Vipps to log in. After logging in, they are automatically sent back to the Shopify checkout with all customer information pre-filled. Name, address, email, and delivery information are already in place. The customer only needs to click "Pay now" to complete the purchase. The result is fewer steps, less friction, and significantly lower cart abandonment. Merchant has developed and maintains the integration.
