Camping store operated one of Norway's largest assortments of camping equipment on a WooCommerce installation that no longer scaled. With over 7000 products, over 40,000 historical orders, and an active dealer network that needed self-service, the need for a new platform was obvious. The challenge was to move all the data without losing anything while also building a better solution for B2B customers.

The merchant delivered a complete WooCommerce-to-Shopify migration with products, customers, order history, and redirect links. A customized B2B system was built with a separate dealer portal, and a custom Shopify app was developed for easy approval and management of B2B customers. Largest and best, but on the wrong platform
The camping store had built itself up as Norway's most complete supplier of camping equipment and motorhome accessories. WooCommerce had served them for a long time, but with an assortment that grew to nearly 7000 products and a B2B channel that required more than a standard online store could offer, it was time to switch.
The migration that lost nothing
Merchant carried out a systematic migration of all 7000+ products with correct categorization and product attributes. All 40,000+ historical orders and 10,000+ customer profiles were imported to Shopify without data loss. Redirect links from the old WooCommerce structure were set up to preserve the SEO value that had been built up over the years.
Custom B2B system and administration app
The camping store serves a network of dealers who need self-service. Merchant built a separate dealer portal where wholesalers can register, get approved, and place orders at their own prices. For easy administration, a custom Shopify app was developed to give the Camping Store team full oversight and control over B2B customers.
Integrated logistics and accounting
With the PostNord integration, shipping costs are calculated automatically and tracking is available for customers. The PowerOffice integration ensures that all orders end up correctly in the accounting without manual processing. Vipps, Klarna, Visa, and Mastercard provide customers with flexibility at checkout.
