House of Leonore AS

How Leonore Swim was launched on Shopify Plus with a customized checkout, B2B system, and infrastructure built for growth.

Leonore Swim needed a complete Shopify Plus store built from scratch. Merchant delivered a customized checkout with upsell and Vipps Quick Checkout, integrations with accounting and shipping, and a B2B system connected to Tripletex for easy wholesale invoicing.

"I had a clear vision for the brand, but I needed someone who could build a store that actually reflected it. Merchant delivered a solution that is easy for me to use and provides customers with an experience I am proud of. "

Challenge

Frida Leonore Næss had a clear brand identity, four finished collections, and a strong visual profile. What she lacked was a technical platform that could keep up. The store had to handle both regular consumer customers and wholesale orders, it needed to be integrated with the Norwegian accounting and shipping system, and the checkout process had to be optimized for Norwegian payment habits. All of this was to be built from scratch.

Solution

The merchant built a complete Shopify Plus store tailored to Leonore Swim's needs. The checkout was customized with upsell, free shipping, and Vipps Quick Checkout to provide Norwegian customers with a frictionless shopping experience. The store was integrated with shipping, payment, and accounting. A dedicated B2B system connected to Tripletex allows wholesalers to place orders directly, with automatic invoicing to Norwegian businesses. A thorough metafield architecture ensures that the store is built to scale over time without needing to be rebuilt.

Leonore Swim is a new brand with the ambition level of an established one. To live up to that, they needed a Shopify store that was technically sound from day one, with infrastructure that can withstand growth and a shopping experience that reflects the brand.

The result is a store that appears simple to the customer, but has a well-thought-out technical backbone beneath the surface. A tailored checkout, B2B integration, and accounting connection allow Frida to spend her time building the brand instead of managing orders.

A brand with a clear identity

Leonore Swim was created by Frida Leonore Næss after a trip to Hawaii that changed her perspective. She came home with an idea to take the Hawaiian bikini tradition and offer it to Scandinavian customers, with a focus on quality, confidence, and timeless aesthetics. The brand was clear. The platform had to be the same.

The store opened with four collections: Nalu, Kai, Makai, and Moana, each with its own color profile and names derived from Hawaiian culture. For visitors, this is a coherent and recognizable aesthetic. Behind it lies a carefully planned product architecture and metafield structure that makes it easy to add new collections without having to rebuild anything.

Checkout optimization for Norwegian customers

One of the most important decisions in a Norwegian D2C project is the checkout setup. Norwegian customers expect Vipps, and they expect a shopping flow that does not require unnecessary steps. Merchant implemented Vipps Quick Checkout as the primary option, combined with a free shipping threshold that is activated automatically at a given amount and an upsell feature that is presented at checkout without feeling intrusive.

The result is a checkout that increases the average order value and reduces drop-off, without the customer experiencing it as aggressive.

B2B and accounting integration

Leonore Swim does not only sell to individuals. The store also handles wholesale orders from Norwegian companies, which imposes entirely different requirements on the system. Merchant built a tailored B2B system directly linked to Tripletex, which is the accounting system many Norwegian companies use. Wholesalers can place orders themselves, and invoices are generated automatically without manual follow-up from the Leonore Swim side.

This is infrastructure that most new launches do not think about until the problem arises. Here it was in place from day one.

Built to scale

What separates a well-built Shopify store from an average one is what happens six months and two years into the future. Merchant implemented a metafield architecture that allows for expanding product information, filtering, and page structure without starting from scratch. New collections can be rolled out quickly, and the store is prepared for further expansion in the Scandinavian market.

Leonore Swim has the platform they need to grow. The next step is up to the brand.
