"We knew that we had the right products, but the online store did not look trustworthy. Now we are receiving feedback from customers that they chose us because the site looked serious. This is a significant shift."

Challenge

Heat pump equipment had a solid product range and loyal customers, but an online store that did not communicate it professionally. The design was outdated, the navigation was unclear, and it lacked conversion elements that Norwegian customers expect, such as clear shipping information, Vipps, and credibility signals by the purchase button. The logistics setup required modernization.

Solution

The merchant delivered a complete redesign with a color profile inspired by Telemark Energispar, a mega menu, a hero banner with USPs, and blue CTA buttons throughout. The product pages received a metafield structure, payment and shipping icons, estimated delivery time, and a sticky add-to-cart feature on mobile. Vipps Checkout was implemented. The logistics were modernized with Bring/PostNord integration via Profrakt.

A solid assortment needs a store that sells it as well as the products do themselves.

Merchant redesigned Varmepumpemateriell from the ground up, focusing on conversion, navigation, and logistics that actually work. The result is a store that is as safe to use as it is easy to navigate.

Design that communicates professionalism

Varmepumpemateriell.no serves customers who make purchasing decisions based on trust. Merchant created a new visual expression with consistent blue CTA buttons, a brand logo section featuring Toshiba, Mitsubishi, and other suppliers, clear contact information in the header, and a tidy footer with a contact form.

Navigation and product structure

With a wide assortment spread across many categories, navigation was critical. Merchant implemented a mega menu in the header that gives customers quick access to the entire assortment, and a breadcrumb trail on all pages for easy orientation.

Conversion elements on product pages

Each product page was enhanced with credibility elements: payment icons, estimated delivery time, 14-day right of withdrawal, and visible free shipping threshold. A sticky add-to-cart button on mobile ensures that the purchase button is always available. The metafield structure with collapsible rows makes product descriptions neat and clear.

Logistics and shipping

Varmepumpemateriell uses Pakkepost.no as the shipping provider. Merchant integrated the store with Bring and PostNord via Profrakt for accurate automatic shipping calculation throughout Norway. A widget with estimated delivery time is displayed on the product page and at checkout. Vipps Checkout was implemented as the primary payment method for Norwegian customers.
